The Mid-East Career and  Technology Centers are an extension of the member school districts of four counties, providing career preparatory program options.  The District covers 1,740 square miles in three and one-half counties and offers skill training programs for both high school junior and seniors as well as adult students.

Commercial Art Student Wins Ohio ACTE Cover Contest
Congratulations to this year's Ohio ACTE Summer Conference Cover Design Contest winner, Evan Gamble, a junior in the Commercial Art Program from Zanesville High School. Earlier this year, Evan also did some design work for the Byesville Rotary Club. Good work Evan and Commercial Art instructor, Mr. Owen Williams!

Mid-East Provides Elementary Career Day for Northern Local Fifth Graders
Students from Mid-East were recently able to showcase their career-tech programs at a Career Day held for Northern Local fifth grade students. The event was held for approximately 170 students from Glenford, Thornville and Somerset Elementaries. 
Careers are All They Are Chalked Up to be at Nashport Elementary School
Fourth, fifth and sixth grade students at Nashport Elementary School recently participated in Careers on the Walk. The activity allowed them to express their career interests in chalk on the sidewalk outside of the school. 
Mid-East and Bard Bounce by Pike Elementary
Mid-East Public Information Coordinator and President of the Muskingum County Literacy Council Stacey Snider recently visited Pike Elementary School with a surprise guest- Bard the Literacy Bun
