 Remember, Mid-East Means Jobs!

The Adult Basic and Literacy Education program in conjunction with Zane State College is proud to share our students sentiments from the Zane State College Education Scholar-Donor Breakfast.

Da Shawn Sanders says, "It came as a surprise to me to open up the mail and realize I won something that was actually real.  I felt so important.  I had been struggling with myself about what direction I needed to move in over the past few years.  All I had was a G.E.D., and the jobs I held left me feeling empty.  I am working to attain a bachelor's degree in Human Services.  My goal is to become Substance Abuse Counselor (teacher).  I really appreciate what you are doing for me by giving me this scholarship."

Pam Hall says, "I would like to thank you for choosing me as the recipient of the GED Honorary Scholarship.  It is truly an honor to be awarded this scholarship, and gives me validation that the potential for success rests within my reach.  I am a fifty plus female wanting to fulfill my education dream of achieving a college degree, and vague of my potential.  Your scholarship has encouraged me."
