Building Construction and Remodeling

This program is designed to train students for entry-level employment in residential or commercial construction, remodeling, and/or building maintenance. This unique course blends curriculum prepared by National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), OSHA and our professional trades instructors.

The program combines classroom and hands-on instruction to prepare students for success in the work environment. The State of Ohio has indicated that job opportunities in construction will be good for those with the appropriate training and skills.

PREPARE TO EARN CERTIFICATION IN:
  • OSHA 10 Hour
  • First Aid/CPR/AED (ASHI)
  • NCCER Core Curriculum Certificate
  • NCCER Carpentry Level 1 Certificate
  • Class A CDL
Students:
  • Must have a high school or GED Diploma (or complete either before program completion in order to receive NCCER Core.
  • Receive a basic toolkit for entry-level employments, which they keep upon successful completion of the program.

Mon – Thur 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Tuition: $8,502 
Includes books, tools, materials and NCCER Certification exams.  The NCCER curriculum is recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Advance to Franklin University

Upon earning your NCCER credentials, students qualify for 20 semester credit hours at Franklin University toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Management (AMGT).

OSHA 10 or 30 HOUR Safety Training Certification

  • Training for General Industry or Construction
  • 10 hour or 30 hour card
