This program is for Certified Ohio Emergency Medical Technicians who want to upgrade their certification to become a Paramedic. The program was designed in cooperation with area hospitals and life squads. It follows the standards set by the U.S. Department of Transportation's National Standard Training Program and is accredited by the Ohio Division of EMS, Public Safety Services.

The Paramedic program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of Committee on Accreditation of education Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions.

Students
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be free of any current charges, incarceration and/or parole or probation for a felony offense.
  • Are eligible to take the National Registry Exam after successfully completing this program.
