Businesses Educate Students during Tenth Annual Employability Expo

The tenth annual Employability Expo was recently held at the Buffalo Campus of Mid-East Career and Technology Centers. The purpose of the event was to allow students the opportunity to speak with experienced business people about various aspects regarding employment. Area business people were available to answer questions from students about interview processes, necessary experience, dress code, and others. Business people were matched up with students according to their career clusters. Nineteen business people from 15 businesses were in attendance. The event also featured a presentation from Erica Frencik and Destinee Coughenour from OhioMeansJobs- Guernsey County regarding the job seeking tools available at the center. Organizers of the event were Shannon Kenily, Coordinator of Business Partnerships and Placement and Becky Bruner, Media Specialist.
