Phlebotomists draw blood from patients for testing purposes. Classroom and lab work includes terminology, A & P, blood collection procedures, hands-on practice, puncture methods, and clinical blood draws.
Additional fee for the certification exam.
Students must be 18 years of age to complete this class.

120 hrs Monday -Thursday (calendar dates vary and students will receive an exact calendar on the first day of class)

This is a part-time class and can not be paid for by Financial Aid. It is self-pay or agency funded. Total amount due at time of registration unless being funded by an agency.

The certification exam cost is an additional fee at the completion of the program. This is paid to the medical career assessment agency, not to Mid-East.

Students:
Must have 2-step TB, Flu, and Covid Immunizations test prior to clinical.
Once class begins, the student will be sent for a BCI/FBI background check which must come back clear.
